COURSE (THEORY) overview:
This session will address the complete clinical workflow for multiple-implant rehabilitation in partially edentulous patients, from clinical planning to implant positioning, surgical execution, and final prosthetic restoration.
The discussion will include the selection of implant type, the decision-making process between single crowns and splinted bridges, and the choice between the use of intermediate abutments or direct connection to the implant.
Both analog and digital techniques will be described and analyzed, highlighting their differences in workflow and clinical application.
Special attention will be given to the selection of definitive abutments based on prosthetic design, material choice, and the achievement of long-term biological and mechanical stability.
HANDS-ON Session:
In this hands-on session, participants will perform the definitive impression for multiple-implant restorations in partially edentulous patients.
The focus will be on the customization of the emergence profile, either on intermediate abutments or directly at the implant level.
Through this procedure, the shape and contour of the peri-implant soft tissues achieved during the provisional phase can be accurately transferred to the laboratory.
The workshop will demonstrate how the individualized impression components are integrated into the definitive prosthetic workflow to ensure precise replication of the established tissue profile and optimal aesthetic and functional outcomes.
