COURSE overview:
This session will explore the complete clinical workflow for single-implant rehabilitation, from clinical planning and implant selection to surgical execution, provisionalization, and definitive prosthetic restoration.
Special emphasis will be placed on aesthetic management, soft tissue preservation, and the key role of provisional restorations in conditioning peri-implant tissues.
Different loading protocols, clinical strategies, and decision-making criteria will be discussed to optimize biological integration, aesthetic outcomes, and the long-term success of single-tooth implant therapy.
HANDS-ON Session:
In this hands-on session, participants will carry out the individualization of the impression transfer, a key step to accurately communicate the emergence profile of the provisional restoration to the dental technician.
This procedure ensures that the technician can faithfully replicate the soft tissue contours and emergence profile achieved during the provisional phase in the final prosthesis, preserving the biological and aesthetic results obtained chairside.
The subsequent impression-taking phase will integrate the individualized transfer into the overall prosthetic workflow, supporting a seamless transition from the provisional to the definitive restoration.

Tutor for school of Dentistry and specialization in Oral Surgery at the university.
Performs clinical activities in the center for edentulism and maxillary atrophies at Fondazione IRCCS Ca Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan, coordinated by Professor Maiorana.
Performs research in the implant field specifically on peri-implant soft tissue, bone regeneration for implant-prosthetic purposes and digital flow in implantology.
Author of publications in national and international journals and reviewer for journals in the field.
